TIP: before reading on, ensure that you've set up your printer.

Once you've turned on badge printing, navigate to the Buttons tab on the left of your dashboard. Select 'Existing Buttons,' then click 'edit' to the right of the button to which you would like to add badge printing. Scroll down to the Badge Printing section of your button setup. On the left, click the 'Print Badges' toggle to 'On.'

Our proprietary badge editor allows you to move visitor-completed fields of data around on your badge, add a logo that’s different from the welcome screen display, and much more. Badges are totally customizable! You can include information like the visitor’s name, company, the date of their visit, and much more. All entries on the badge can be resized or further customized, such as via changing the font on text fields.

Many visit fields, including Text, Yes/No, and Multiple Choice, can be added to your badge. For example, if your team has a multiple-choice field that asks the visitor if they are here for X, Y, or Z, the answer to that question can be printed on their badge. At this time, you can only have one custom field per badge.

Remember to save your button settings when you're done setting up your badge!

This video will show you how to enable badge printing for your buttons and configure your badge:
