What if I don't want to notify anyone when a check-in occurs? Can I set up a simple digital visit log to record visitor information?

If you don't need to notify a contact of your visitors' arrival or are looking for a modern version of a sign-in sheet only, we can do that!

Start on the buttons page of your online dashboard. Select 'Existing Buttons' on the right, then click to edit your sign-in button. Scroll down to the 'Select Employee Contacts' section.  The last option on the right will 'disable contact selection' and set your button to simple sign-in-only behavior.  Enable that feature and save at the very bottom:

Voila! Check-ins will still be saved on the Visit Log, but no notifications will be sent, and visitors will not be asked to select a contact they are here to see.

Have questions or want to chat through options? Click on that orange chat button in the lower right corner to livechat with a member of The Receptionist team!
