Printers can certainly be a pain! It's by far the number one thing that we support with our customers. **If you are using version 4.4 or newer of the app, please use the troubleshooting guide built into the Printer Settings menu from within the app.**

Otherwise, this interactive troubleshooting guide will walk you through identifying and solving the most common configuration and networking-related problems that we see with printers. If at the end of this process printing still isn't working for you a new chat session will be started with us and we will have a record of everything that you've tried.

Getting through this guide can take up to 20 minutes to complete, so please make sure you have this much time available.

**Before proceeding with the troubleshooting guide, please ensure that The Receptionist app is updated to the most current version.** To do so, close The Receptionist app on your iPad, open the App Store and tap your profile icon in the upper right; you should then see updates in that menu. Click on that and open The Receptionist update. If nothing appears there, search for The Receptionist for iPad, click on our logo or name and select UPDATE.
