If you have employees setting up meetings with visitors who don't have access to the Visit Log, this solution will allow your contacts to pre-register visitors by sending an email or a calendar invite.

Anyone who is listed as a contact on your account is able to pre-register a visitor by sending a calendar invite. To do this, create a calendar invite just like you would normally, making sure to include your account's personal email address as an attendee. You can view this email on the integration page of the web portal; select "View Documentation" and copy the email address on that page.

When our system receives the invite, a pre-registration for each attendee that is not in your list of contacts will be added to the visit log. The system will set the "Estimated Check-In Time" of the pre-registration to be the time specified in the invite. It will also do its best to parse out the visitor's name from the invite.

No pre-registration email will be sent to these visitors, so be sure that the calendar invite has any information the visitor might need.

Additional documentation can be found in the Integrations area of your account.

As always, if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out by clicking the orange chat bubble at the bottom of your screen!
