I don't want or need buttons. How can I go straight to Contacts?

Buttons are how your clients select what they're here for. Some companies may have different Buttons for appointments, walk-ins, and deliveries, for example. But some companies only see one type of visitor and don't need visitors to select why they're here. If that sounds like you, good news: you can skip the Button-select screen and skip straight to your check-in process!

Skipping Button Selection

The Receptionist will automatically skip the Button selection screen if you only have one Button. When only one button exists, the system will simply use that Button's Contact list, visitor fields, and additional customization.

To remove buttons, start on the Buttons page of the web portal. Select 'Existing Buttons' on the right side of the page. From there, you can toggle off and then delete any Buttons you don't want to use. Once you've reduced your button count to one, all new visitors will skip the selection page and instead move straight to that Button's check-in flow.

Editing Your Check-In Flow

If you ever need to change the questions in your check-in process, you'll navigate to the Buttons page and edit your active button. To see how to edit a button's check-in flow, such as its visitor fields, start here.
