How do I use a printer to print visitor badges?

PART ONE

Enabling Printing for Your Account and Button(s):

  1. Visit the Printing page on your account online and click the toggle to "On".

  2. Choose the printer model, then label that you will be using (sample rolls that come with 820 printers are DK-2251) and Save.

  3. Visit Buttons > Existing Buttons and edit each button you'd like to include a printed badge for visitors.

  4. Scroll down to toggle on badge configuration and create your badge layout, and Save. (Additional badge configuration guidance can be found here.)

Setting up the Hardware:

  1. Choose whether you want the 820 printer to connect via WiFi (recommended) or Bluetooth. (If you have a different printer model, please reach out to our team for additional setup instructions.)

Printer troubles? Versions 4.4+ of the app have built-in troubleshooting in the Printer Settings menu, or you can launch the assistance bot by clicking here.
