Do you want to let your clientele know you've implemented a visitor management service?

If you want to inform visitors that you are adding The Receptionist to your workplace and offer information on what check-in with the system will look like, here is a template you can edit to suit your business and send to visitors.

Please note that because The Receptionist is highly customizable, your check-in process may differ from the default; you will likely need to edit this template based on your setup.

Email Template:

Hello,

Our check-in process is changing! We will now be using The Receptionist app, which will help all future visitors to save time during check-in.

Check-in can now be completed via the iPad upon arrival. To check in to our location, approach the iPad and tap the button on the welcome screen. Then, follow the onscreen prompts.

(if you are using contactless check-in)

You can also begin check-in on your own device by scanning the QR code on the iPad (or hanging up in the lobby, or using the link we’ve sent you ahead of time, etc.).

(If you are using the Agreements feature)

You may also be asked to sign/agree to legal documents while signing in.

(If you have contact selection enabled)

Once you’ve completed check-in, the employee contact you selected will be notified of your arrival.

(if you have a check-out button)

Remember to use the iPad to check out upon completion of your visit!

(If you have visit summary emails turned on)

Once you've checked out, you’ll receive an email summarizing your visit times and other information for your records.
