GETTING STARTED
Receptionist in a Box is your all-in-one hardware solution if you don’t have one already
New Account Resources will help you get started using your brand new account and customizing The Receptionist to fit your needs
Set up an Apple ID and download our app
ADD USERS & CONTACTS
Determine User roles for the web portal to ensure members of your team have the appropriate level of view or edit access
Import a CSV file or manually add Contacts in your organization who should receive notifications when visitors arrive or add them one at a time
Assign backup rules in case the primary Contact is unavailable when a visitor arrives
HOME AND BUTTON SET UP
Customize the home screen and add up to 6 buttons accommodating the types of visitors that come through your doors
Add or edit visitor fields to collect details for each visitor type
Enable Contactless Check-In to allow visitors to check in to your facility on their devices
OPTIONAL STEPS
Set up an API call with your Active Directory/employee database
Set up a badge printer if badge printing is part of your check-in process
Export your signed agreements or sync them automatically to DropBox or Google Drive
Remember returning visitors and expedite their repeat check-ins
Enable visitor pre-registration to store visitor info ahead of their arrival
Set up Zapier webhooks to send information about your visits out to additional tools that you use
Factory restore your iPad if you've lost the passcode
